Ik kwam onlangs een briljante presentatie tegen om precies dit duidelijk te maken aan bijvoorbeeld de directie. Laat ze de presentatie “What the F**k is Social Media” door Martha Kagan zien. De verschillende feiten en cijfers maken het een leuke eye-opener. Als je na deze presentatie niet overtuigd bent van het belang van social media dan is het waarschijnlijk echt niet het juiste marketing kanaal voor jou bedrijf.

Found out how to keep Adium from crashing constantly in Snow Leopard, before it crashes press cmd+T in a message window, select Arial and “Save this setting as my default font”.
Magically this prevents Adium from crashing in Snow Leopard! Somehow it has to do something with the font change in Snow Leopard and a corresponding bug in Adium.
Read this article on stored procedures and find out why they are evil. I’m now debugging GX WebManager which uses stored procedures and trying to find out why I receive an SQL error, which is not a very easy task with this kind of code:

If this would have been Java code with proper exception handling this would have been much easier to debug and find the error which causes our problem at hand. Our problem is that media items can’t be added since a migration from development to production.
